As a design freelancer, it is really nice to see the latest technology on creative industries. I met DA friends and some great person from Indonesia graphic design scene. And there is political poster exhib too.
The Expo

The Expo itself big. Lots of vendor. Great booth design. But unfortunately rare free goodies. The vendor now became more passively to offer or to give their product sample, even if I already have visit the booth, have a little chit chat asking about the product, and giving in my namecard.
The Friends

Ronald came with his office mate from Kino Packaging. Iko came with his office mate too. They came from Palembang in the morning and they had to flew off from Jakarta after visiting the expo. Its great to finally meet Iko offline. We've known each other for 3 years online, we've done some clothing stuff, often discussing rap bands, and influencing each other arts.
Karin was a voluntered comitee for Versus Magazine stand. She was kinda busy when I and Iko met her. Lucky when I want to leave the expo, we accidentally meet again.
Here they are:
The Masters

The first photo is Surianto Rustan. He is the author of "Lay out: Dasar & Penerapannya". I already bought the book several months ago. He said that he is preparing to launch his second book --which is about logo-- in this August.
The second photo is Hermawan Tanzil. He is the founder of Léboyé design studio. Léboyé it self established on 1990. Léboyé is known for their excellent logo for dozens of Indonesian company. He added a very local taste to the logo so when we see the logo we could get an exotic nuance. I'm lucky could ask a question on the talkshow then have a chit-chat after it.
The Posters

Yeah, its the Politika Grafika exhibition. Interesting posters it is. But at that day, not all of the poster had been displayed.
